This depends on your health goals and what we’re addressing. Many clients see me every 3–4 weeks at first, then space appointments further apart as they gain confidence and progress.

Yes. My approach combines traditional knowledge with modern, peer-reviewed science. I use current research, clinical experience, and professional training to guide your plan.
-
Yes, if targeted supplementation is indicated, I will recommend it. All supplements are high quality and usually practitioner-grade.
-
Absolutely. I encourage collaborative care and am happy to work alongside your existing healthcare providers.
-
Not necessarily. Where possible, I use standard blood tests through your GP to keep costs down. Functional testing is recommended only if it will significantly help pinpoint the cause of your symptoms and change the course of treatment.
-
This depends on your symptoms, but could include:
Blood tests for nutrient status, hormones, or metabolic markers
Stool testing - I use the Cobiome test which utilises shotgun metagenomic sequencing to provide a comprehensive analysis of the gut microbiome and gastrointestinal health markers
Breath testing to identify SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth)
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA hair testing)

About G.E.M.M. Protocol
-
G.E.M.M. works at a cellular level to restore the gut lining and calm inflammation. It uses nutrigenomics — how food influences your genes — to turn on protective processes and support the whole body. It’s not about cutting more foods out, but about rebuilding tolerance and resilience.
-
It varies, but most clients begin noticing improvements within 4–6 weeks, with continued progress over several months. In some sensitive clients it can take longer to progress through the sequenced GEMM stages.
-
Yes. The protocol is gentle and can be tailored to your tolerance level. We make changes gradually to avoid overwhelming your system. In these clients progress may be slower, so patience is required while we improve tolerance.
-
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule to avoid a cancellation fee.
-
Yes. While many of my clients are women in midlife, I also work with men who have similar metabolic, gut, or healthy ageing concerns.
-
This depends on your health fund and policy.
The government has recently reinstated private health insurance rebates for Naturopathy, and these are expected to be available from early-mid 2026 - please ask your health fund if/when they will be offering this rebate.
I am covered for nutrition-only consultations with AMH, ARHG, Australian Unity, Medibank and NIB. But please first check with your provider if your specific plan includes nutrition. -
Online bookings are prepaid at the time of booking.
For in-person bookings through Just Healthy an invoice will be emailed, which required to be paid in full at least 24 hours prior to the consultation.
